Drawing Tech Top 10 lists:
Do non screen tablets have a cursor? How can you know where your pen is going to draw?
As always that doesn’t get mentioned enough. Don’t forget used. MOST buyers of these are not slamming them around. They are solid state devices so failure is actually rare.
I got a Kamvas 24 in trade for a set of Bookshelve speakers on Craigslist…I bought the speakers at a thrift store. They were nice and a good score but I got the better deal cuz this thing is sweet. Guy just wanted in gone. Never dismiss used.
hey brad, i would really love you to compare the pro pen 3 and pentech 4.0. is it really such a massive difference or huion is comparable
I usually just doodle traditionally with ballpoint pen or mechanical pencil on a notebook and only have a cheap nondisplay tablet(xp pen deco1 v2), but despite not using it a lot, I’ve never felt that much of a learning curve. Sure, it’s not as intuitive as pencil and paper and less fun to use, but that doesn’t mean I ever found drawing on non display tablets difficult. I wonder if it’s because of how many hours I’ve spent painting on MS paint with a mouse.
I wish they would make something bigger for lower price and all that. I need to change my current table but it’s hard to find anything close to it, both in size and price.
Mine is 16″, 12 buttons, also can customize pressure, the pen is very sesitive, same paper like feeling on screen. And all that for $40.
Now I can’t even find a bad one with this size for the same price
