I’ve tested 100’s of iPhone cases BUT because the iPhone 17’s are built different than the 16’s, I can’t automatically assume the best cases for the 16’s will work for the 17’s. Add to the mix that some of the cases in my Top 15 aren’t even available yet.
SO…this video has 4 cases from the Top 15, that I KNOW anybody can get right now, today!

Both Mous cases I’ve owned have started to fall apart after about 16-18 months. They have great customer service, though.
why those choices . odd picks. and no tests . why better on off the farm
you changed your mind about Techwoven eh ?
UAG is better
I really like your channel, but I am genuinely surprised that neither you nor anyone else online has actually tested the strength of phone lanyards.
An estimated 30% of smartphone buyers rely entirely on these lanyards to protect their devices from drops and theft. Yet, we have absolutely no data proving whether they actually offer any real protection. It feels like a massive oversight, and it makes me wonder if you guys just don’t use lanyards yourself, so you simply haven’t bothered to check them out.
To give you some context, I am 60 years old and disabled. While I was young and healthy once, I am now in a vulnerable position. I live in London, surrounded by opportunistic criminals trying to steal high-tech phones. If a thief gives a hard tug on my current setup, I need to know I am safe. Unfortunately, most lanyards on the market look incredibly weak and pathetic.
In fact, the premium design brands—the exact ones you usually love to dissect and find faults with—are the worst offenders. I am specifically talking about Mous. Their lanyard case relies on just two tiny perforations. How can one millimeter of plastic possibly secure a phone when a thief is aggressively tugging against it with nylon thread?
It honestly feels like Mous cares more about the thief than the customer. Their defense would likely be a stupid argument about “safety” and preventing the user from being strangled. But let me be clear: I would rather risk being strangled than have my phone stolen. My phone is my lifeline. I want a lanyard I can put around my neck, knowing that a scumbag would truly have to fight me for it to break.
Please, use your platform and show some common sense—test these lanyards properly! 😅
