$250 vs $2000 WiFi 7 Mesh System – DON'T WASTE your money!

I tested a $250 WiFi 7 mesh system against a $2000 WiFi 7 mesh system to see if spending more money actually gives you better speeds, better coverage, and a better overall home internet experience.

In this video, I compare the MSI Roamii BE Pro against the Netgear Orbi 970, two WiFi 7 mesh systems at completely different price points. I run real-world speed tests, check coverage, compare performance, and see whether the expensive WiFi 7 mesh system is actually worth it — or if the cheaper option is good enough for most people.

If you’re thinking about upgrading to WiFi 7, buying a new mesh WiFi system, or trying to improve your home network, this comparison should help you decide which setup makes more sense.

  1. Did you power cycle the modem before adding the new mesh system? Anytime you install a new system, you need to power cycle the modem.

  2. Yes!! This what I’m looking for. Sounds just like Linksys I’d had a while it was dual band just 1 SSID it found the band itself. 3 ports perfect.

I guess Linksys is gone don’t see brand anywhere. Screw all these Orbi’s over $1000 with just 2 LAN ports.

  3. Now let’s hook it up correctly and test, put providers router in bridge and feed your switch for your hardwired gear and use a wired backbone like Orbi does. Now let’s test it

  4. hi, mind if I share with you even cheaper wifi 7 mesh ? haven’t turn it up yet waiting for the full rig to arrive
3 unit of wifi mesh ap/routers(15 watts each), 2.5Gbps POE+ 4port switch 60watts, 3 units 2.5Gbps POE+ extractor. plannning to setup mesh with LAN backhaul but of course can also crash test with wifi backhaul.
