Loved your video. I just switched to Spectrum and their modem utilizes wifi 7. I have a 1700 sq ft home on the main level, and a full finished basement. If i want a mesh type entender can I just purchase one of these options versus the pair? They want $5/month to utilize their mesh extender.
Just wanted to chime in, I bought the Asus BT10 and it’s been a horrendous experience. This router does not play well with Spectrum modem. WAN connection is horribly unreliable. If I lost power for even a second, or anything that interrupted the wan connection to spectrum it would be hours (HOURS) of restarting the modem and router over and over until it finally connected. Horrible experience.
That said, when it was connected, it was an absolute gem, it gave me my full plan speeds wired and wireless which the orbit 770 did not. I finally RMA my 2 units this weekend and Asus has offered to buyback the router. I can’t buy this router again and risk getting burned in the same way, it was a HORRID 2 years with this guy, but for those times it was connected it was a gem.
Most absolute rubbish routers are Netgear Orbi. Horrible setup. I bought almost each model and got rid of each within the span of 3 months. Now i have Deco BE65 which are easy straight forward no stupid setups.
I had multiple tp link deco systems and all the units are full routers. Deco is doing the job great.
